TOMMY FURRY'S ex-foe Anthony Taylor claimed that Jake Paul pulled out because he was 'partying'.
Due to a severe chest infection and broken ribs, the British light-heavyweight pulled out of his fight to face the Problem Child in Florida later in March.
Love Island's star Tommy Fury resigned from his fight against Jake Paul in late February
Fury, 22 years old, shared an xray of the injury that he sustained in training. He stated that he was unable to breathe.
Taylor was however outpointed in August by TNT. Taylor stated Fury's withdrawal was due to his physical condition after too much drinking with Tyson.
He spoke to Betway Insider and stated that he was out of the fight not because of an injury but because of his physical condition.
He was too busy with his brother, Tyson's win that he couldn't be bothered to fight. Tommy originally believed he was going to fight in February. He is now in no shape to fight.
"Tommy's still green at the moment. He's also young. Tommy was out celebrating, but Jake is at the gym almost every day.
"Tommy didn't have a full training camp. He believed he was certain to win because he comes from a fighting family.
"But, let me tell ya, Tommy will be in for a rude awakening if this fight with Jake ever gets made!"
Tyson declared last month that Tommy could beat YouTuber-turned boxer Tommy with broken ribs and a broken left hand.
Taylor, however, insists that he's not the WBC heavyweight champion and with Paul having withdrawn from their contest.
He said, "You heard Tyson Fury say? He stated, "Tommy can have broken arms, broken ribs and one left leg tied behind his back. No hands and even on his worst day, he would still beat Jake Paul."
"He said all this, and now Tommy is pulling away. This has been a constant refrain of mine: Tommy and Tyson are not the same.
"Tyson, a strong Bounty paper towel, and Tommy, a cheap toilet tissue... I knew Tommy was going to pull it out."
Paul, who has called Tommy an 'embarrassment for withdrawing', will now face former UFC Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in the rematch.
