TOMMY FURRY trains with his famous medicine ball exercise, despite insisting it didn't cause his broken rib.
Due to a bacterial infection in his chest and a fractured rib, the 22-year old had to pull out of his highly anticipated fight against YouTube star Jake Paul in December.
Tommy denies that the medicine drill broke his rib
Tyson Fury uploaded a shocking Instagram video in which he repeatedly slammed a medicine ball into the stomach of his brother before the announcement.
Paul's disillusioned fans and Paul were quick to point out that the exercise could have caused his injury.
Tommy, however, denied the claims at that time.
Since then, he has spoken out again about the matter and insists that it is fine.

He said this when he spoke on the Queensberry Boxing Promotions YouTube Channel: "We're still making it!"
"We are still doing it because that is not what caused the injury.
"I have been doing the medicine ball my entire life. It's something I have been doing for over 20 years.
"That's not the cause of the injury. Again, I know it's back when. But for those who don't know or think that's the reason, the injury is not caused by that.
"It is a great technique to get your core and abs ready for fight, so I won’t be cutting it out.
"But at the end, we're just training smarter now and nursing it.
"I don't think it's stupid to test it anymore, because it takes a long time for ribs to heal.
"I have been sparring with heavy men in the gym and taking heavy shots around it, and it has made me happy.
