Tommy Fury says Jake Paul's feud has "become personal" and that YouTuber MUST fight him to prove he's a legitimate boxer

TOMMY FURRY said that his feud with Jake Paul has "become personal" and that the YouTube star must take the fight to prove that he is a legitimate boxer.

Celebrity rivals were to compete for bragging rights and unbeaten records in a grudge match on December 18.

Tommy Fury encouraged Jake Paul to fight him in order to prove that he was a legitimate boxer.

Fury had to leave due to a broken rib, and a bacterial infection in his chest. Former champion of the UFC Tyron Woodley was appointed as Fury's replacement.

This means Paul has yet to face a professional boxer in his unbeaten 5-0 career.

Fury said that he would not leave his reputation unquestioned until he did. He called for their fights to be rescheduled.

On the MMA Hour, he said: "It's become personal because it's unfinished, as I said.

"This fight should have taken place in December. It [didn’t]. This fight must happen. There are many people who want to see this fight.

"I believe Jake Paul can handle this fight, out of all the fights he can boxing-wise take, at the moment. He knows this, I believe.

"Because I wasn't the biggest name or worthy of fighting, you'd know Jake Paul wouldn’t be mentioning my name, because there are a lot people who call Jake Paul out, and a lot who don't get the response.

"At the end, this fight is for Jake Paul to prove that he's legitimately a boxer and can be a legitimate competitor in this game."

Paul has beaten every opponent he has encountered, having ignited Woodley (39), in December, four years after he won on points.

It was added to KO's by YouTuber 'AnEsonGib, an ex-NBA player Nate Robinson (37), and Ben Askren (37), who is a retired UFC welterweight.

Paul immediately called out UFC duo Nate Diaz (36), and Jorge Masvidal (37) right after his second victory over Woodley.

Fury urged Fury to switch the ring to the octagon if he continued to challenge MMA stars.

He lamented: "The truth is that there is unfinished business here, and this fight must take place.

"Because he has never fought a boxer before. He is serious about this.

He keeps referring back to the UFC. He doesn't want to fight in UFC.

"Don't consider yourself a boxer if your only fight was against a human being."
