Paul ignited the blue touch paper by claiming that he didn't know the identity of the Liverpudlian. This prompted The Bomber to issue a warning.

Bellew was initially offended by Paul's rise in the boxing scene, but he has since changed his mind.
He stated, "I only wish him luck. He wishes him all the best.
"If he continues to fight non-boxers within a boxing environment then that's his choice. Let him continue doing what he is doing."
