OLEKSANDR USYK has lost control of his training camp in preparation for his rematch against Anthony Joshua.
As talks continue with AJ about a date and location for their upcoming fight, the WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight champion were in England this week.
Oleksandr Usyk will be defending his WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight titles against Anthony Joshua in the latter part of this year
The dust-up is expected to take place in May or June, with Tottenham being the most likely host.
The Daily Mail claimed that Usyk will not be returning from his training base outside of Kiev, in a major blow to him.
This is because Russia invaded Ukraine after Vladimir Putin declared war against their neighboring country.
The Mail reports that Alex Krassyuk, Usyk's promoter, has said to the outlet that he doesn't know what The Cat will do about his preparations.
He suggested that it would be impossible for them to return to Ukraine to train.
Usyk could move to Oxnard in California with his training partner Vasyl Lomachenko.
The undisputed champion of cruiserweight is now back in Ukraine, where he enjoys 'no war with Russia'
He posted a video to Instagram captioned "NO WAR" and said: "Someone wrote to me that they thought I was running away."
"It wasn't. I was at work, but I'm back, and I'm home.
"Friends, it's hard right now, I'm very emotional, and I worry about my country and our people.
"Friends, this war must be stopped, everyone together."
Eddie Hearn, a matchroom promoter, insists that the conflict between Russia and Ukraine will not have any impact on Joshua's rematch against Usyk.
