TYRON WOODLEY will be able to take home the largest payday in his career as a fighter for Jake Paul's showdown.
A boxing match will be held between the older brother Paul and the former UFC Welterweight Champion. It will take place Monday morning.
A week from Monday, Tyron Woodley and Jake Paul will be at it again
Woodley's fight with the social media star and boxer will be his professional boxing debut. Showtime chief Stephen Espinoza claims that The Chosen One will take home a career-high' purse.
He said to MMA Fighting, "I think there were some people out there that dismissed Tyron’s claim as something for advertising.
"That was not said, Tyron did not make that comment to promote the event. This doesn't sell pay per view.
"He said that because it was true. It's a career-high payday. I talked to him about it. I also talked to Malki [Kawa] about the matter.
"He's getting a guarantee that is greater than any he has ever received before. This is a significant statement.
"It speaks volumes about Jake's business model and it also speaks volumes about MMA's business model. There's more tradition with fighters taking home the lion’s share of the money."
Woodley is a fervent fan of Paul and has made a vow to brutally KO him.
He stated, "You'll see Jake Paul get his head knocked off his neck.
"Sometimes, you talk yourself into a situation you can't stand yourself out of." My mom used to say that my mouth wrote a check that my ass couldn't cash.
"Now, you have a motherfer who's going to fight for you like it's never been fought before.
"Ain't any sparring you can do mothef***ing be ready for it."
"Ain't no meditation. Ain't no kumbaya. Ain't no mama say, mama sa mama coosa.
"Ain't s**t you can do. You getting your ass beat. It's a great feeling.
Paul, a former Disney star, is currently 3-0 in pro boxing. He has stoppedpage wins over Nate Robinson, AnEson Gib and Woodley's friend Ben Askren.
The Problem Child also vowed that Woodley would be added to his list of victims in a devastating manner.
He stated that Tyron is a seasoned fighter who has fought some of the most skilled MMA fighters around the globe, but Tyron will be knocked out by a Disney teen star within 2 rounds.
"Maybe Dana White will be a man of his words and place his money on his former champion rather than trying to undermine me like a jealous ex.
"Influencer vs MMA....let's get it on. It's Showtime.
