It was inked to his middle finger in September. But Woodley revealed it was not there before their rematch on Saturday.

Woodley stated on Showtime that he did it intentionally to troll the trolling trolls.

"Anyone who has a tattoo on their inside knows that it fades, whether they are a tattoo artist or someone with a tattoo.

"I put it on the finger that signifies the opposite of love.

"I didn't want my name to be on me the rest of his life. I was too busy taking showers, washing my hands, and boxing, fight ropes, and turf.

"I accepted it not to be removed, I agreed that it would be permanent, but I never felt like I lost the fight, so I wasn’t too excited about it.

"It wasn’t something I planned out and put all my effort into it."

They bet that the loser would get their name tattooed before they fight in August.

After Woodley, 39, lost in split-decision to Paul, 24, Paul said that he would rematch the match if the wager was fulfilled.

Paul took almost a month to get the tattoo. By that time, Paul was ready to fight Tommy Fury at 22.

Fury had to pull out of training after sustaining a broken rib, and a chest infection.

Paul beat YouTuber "AnEsonGib", ex-NBA star Nate Robinson (37), and Ben Askren (37).

Fury, however, would have been Fury's first opponent if he had prior experience in the field.

After Woodley has signed as a late replacement, that will have to be waited.
