TYSON FURY is '100%' serious about training Anthony Joshua in beating Oleksandr Usyk. He claimed to his SugarHill Steward coach.
Joshua was defeated by Usyk in September. He has been following trainers in America to build his team for the rematch.
After Oleksandr Usyk's defeat, Anthony Joshua
Fury offered his services along with SugarHill, his cornerman - nephew of the legendary Emanuel.
SugarHill said that the Gypsy King offered the deal because he wanted Joshua to get on track so they could fight.
TalkSPORT was informed by him that he is 100% serious about Joshua's camp support.
"We want him defeat Usyk for a start because Fury against Joshua is what we want, and so do all of the boxing fans around the world."
"It's not a joke or a ruse, we would gladly help Joshua, because he is capable to beat Usyk in a rematch. This is not something new.
"In the past, boxers traveled to different gyms for help. This is a sport and we must view it as such.
"Remember that when heavyweight boxing wins, all of boxing wins."
"Fury versus Joshua is the biggest fight in the sport, and we all know how that would impact the sport with the two men fighting for the undisputed title.
"It couldn’t be more amazing."
Fury, 33, was almost confirmed to face Joshua, 32 for the undisputed heavyweight title in August.
However, his 36-year-old attempt to walk out of a contract trilogy bout with Deontay wilder was unsuccessful.
Fury defeated Wilder after 11 thrilling rounds in Las Vegas. This was just weeks after AJ was shocked against Usyk, 34.
Joshua has invoked his right for an immediate rematch next season, while Fury is expected to face Dillian Whyte (WBC mandatory challenger), 33.
