Tyson Fury advised not to let the collapse of PS200m Anthony Joshua's 'gravy train" distract him from his Deontay Wilder trilogy

TYSON FURY was warned to not allow the 'derailment on the Joshua gravy train to affect him against Deontay wilder'.

In a three-fight against the American, the Gypsy King will be defending his WBC heavyweight title.

Frank Warren, Fury's promoter, has asked his man to keep his eyes on the task ahead

The Gypsy King was urged to keep his eyes on the task ahead, despite ripping Wilder to shreds in February 2020.

British boxing's hopes for a undisputed title clash between Fury & Anthony Joshua were dashed when Oleksandr Usyk defeated the former on September 25.

Warren now wants his man, to forget about the PS200million disappointment and go against a determined Wilder here in Las Vegas.

The promoter of the Hall of Fame, Tyson, wrote in Boxing Scene: "Tyson can't afford to get distracted by the Joshua gravy train derailment and lose his focus on the job at hand against Deontay Wilder.

"I don't see Wilder being capable of reinventing himself enough to trouble Tyson. But there will not be complacency in our side."

If Fury does what the bookies predict and defeats Wilder, there are some delicious-looking defenses of the title.

The Brits Joe Joyce, Daniel Dubois and Daniel Dubois are now in title contention. Of course, there's the undisputed clash with Usyk, former cruiserweight king.

Warren is confident Fury will continue to be the champion in the heavyweight division.

He said: "As much as I admire his performance and believe he to be a great fighter. I don't see Usyk competing with Tyson."

Tyson shares the attributes Usyk has with him, as well as a size advantage and speed advantage.

"A fight between them, it is a natural one to have as we will now examine an alternative route forward, all things being good on October 9."

Joshua has instructed his team to negotiate terms with Usyk for the rematch.

He will seek revenge, just as he did when he avenged Andr Ruiz Jr's shock loss.

Warren hopes AJ can return to the big-time and has not ruled out the Fury fight ever happening.

He said: "As far as Joshua, I very much hope that he can punch himself back into the picture, and we get to deliver all-British fighters involving Tyson and Joe [Joyce] while they're still ripe for production."
