Another Delay for Fury vs Usyk
The highly anticipated undisputed title fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk is once again facing a delay. The fight, which would have unified the heavyweight division, fell through earlier this year and hopes of a showdown before the end of the year were dashed when Fury accepted a crossover clash with former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.
Usyk's Title Defense
While Fury is off taking on Ngannou, Usyk has had to make do with a mandatory title defense against Daniel Dubois. However, according to Eddie Hearn, the Ukrainian will then have to deal with IBF mandatory challenger Filip Hrgovic right after fighting the winner of the Fury vs Ngannou bout.

Possible Fight in Saudi Arabia
Boxing fans had originally hoped for Fury's long-awaited clash with Usyk to take place in Saudi Arabia before the end of the year. However, promoter Frank Warren has stated that the fight will not happen in 2023 and may be postponed until the first quarter of 2024.
Criticism from Usyk
Former pound-for-pound king Usyk has not held back with his criticism of Fury's decision to face boxing novice Ngannou. Usyk questions the choice, asking why Fury opted to fight someone who has never boxed before, instead of facing a top-10 opponent.
