Fury vs Usyk to be shown live on multiple TV channels
Tyson Fury's highly anticipated fight against Oleksandr Usyk will be broadcasted on Sky Sports, TNT Sports, and DAZN in a groundbreaking agreement. This marks the first time that all three major broadcasters will be showing the same boxing match. Fans in the UK will have the luxury of choosing which channel to watch the action from.
Unclear Pay-Per-View cost
It is not yet known how much the pay-per-view event will cost, but it is anticipated that the three channels will be competing for viewership numbers. The fight, scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia on February 17, has been billed as the "Ring of Fire."
Star-studded commentary teams
TNT Sports will have Laura Woods hosting their coverage of the undisputed heavyweight championship fight live from Riyadh. She will be joined by pundits Carl Frampton, Richie Woodhall, and Steve Bunce ringside. Sky Sports has yet to announce their lineup, but it is expected that Anna Woolhouse will be hosting their program on the night.
Streaming on DAZN
Additionally, the Fury vs Usyk fight will be available for streaming on the DAZN platform. This gives fans another option to watch the highly anticipated clash.
Unifying the heavyweight division
The fight between Fury and Usyk will determine the undisputed heavyweight champion, a title that hasn't been held by a single fighter since Lennox Lewis in 1999. Both fighters enter the bout undefeated in professional boxing. Fury holds the WBC belt, while Usyk has the WBO, WBA, and IBF titles.
Other exciting bouts on the card
In addition to the main event, the fight card will feature two more world title fights. Jai Opetaia will face Mairis Briedis for the IBF Cruiserweight title, and Joe Cordina and Anthony Cacace will compete for the IBF super-featherweight crown.
