Tyson Fury, also known as the Gypsy King, has escaped a potential £200 million lawsuit thanks to the support of Oleksandr Usyk.

Fight Delayed

The highly-anticipated bout between Fury and Ukrainian boxer Usyk, scheduled for December 23rd, was postponed following Fury's controversial victory over Francis Ngannou.

Injuries Sustained

Despite coming out as the winner in the crossover fight, Fury, 35, did sustain some injuries. He was knocked down during the match and was later seen with a black eye.

Postponement Request

Fury's camp requested a postponement of the fight with Usyk in order for Fury to recover from his wounds. Reports stated that failure to comply could result in a £200 million lawsuit from Saudi chiefs.

Fortunately for Fury, Usyk, 36, has publicly supported the decision to delay the fight. He acknowledged Fury's injuries and expressed his willingness to fight in February instead.

Saudi Approval

Usyk's promoter, Alexander Krassyuk, confirmed that the Saudi organizers have agreed to the postponement, highlighting their professionalism and commitment to meeting the fighters' needs.

"These people are amazing people. They understand it clearly and want to make it happen. They put all their efforts into matching the wants and needs of the fighters. They are champions who want to make them feel comfortable, and they do it perfectly," Krassyuk stated.
