Joshua's third professional loss - and his second in a row- has put an end to talk of an all-British showdown with Fury.

Fury is now in negotiations for a possible undisputed bout against Usyk, but he also believes in AJ's abilities.

He spoke on talkSPORT and said that he didn't mean any disrespect to Joshua, but that he couldn't do top-level, world-class fighting.

Then he added: "I don’t respect Usyk. He's not a great fighter, I think. Morecambe has more excitement on Friday nights than I have.

Joshua is not being disrespectful, but he has found his level. He has lost three of his five previous games, which shows he isn't at his best.

Joshua was at his level, and I didn't take any from the fight.

"Usyk failed to land a meaningful punch in 12 rounds. It was tip-tap *******! He could not remove the rice pudding skin."

Fury was then asked about AJ's legacy after the back-toback defeats against Usyk.

He replied, "It's all in ruins."

Fury also informed Usyk that his team has just one week to reach an agreement on the undisputed fight, or Fury will retire.

After beating Dillian Whyte in April, the Gypsy King said he was going to hang up his gloves.

However, Usyk won over AJ and he announced that he would face the Ukrainian at the ridiculously high price of PS500million.

He added: "They have a whole week. It's August 24. They have one week to submit their offer.

"I would like it in writing, with evidence of funds. This is not about money. I am happily retired. I don't have money and I have plenty.
