Tyson Fury blasts judges for "destroying Jack Catterall’s life and career" with his 'disgraceful decision vs Josh Taylor

TYSON FURY blasted the judges for 'destroying Jack Catterall’s life', after Josh Taylor won a controversial split decision victory in their undisputed title fight.

Catterall put in a career-best performance against Taylor in Scotland on February 26, and appeared set to raise his hand in one of the most shocking shocks of recent years.

Fury has protested the decision to award Taylor victory over Catterall

Taylor retained the four world championship belts for 140lb as he won a 114-112, 113-112, and 112-113 win.

This caused widespread anger among boxing fans. The British Boxing Board of Control has opened an investigation into the scoring.

Fury, the WBC heavyweight champion, is the latest fighter who has slammed the decision.

He spoke to BT Sport Boxing and said that he thought the judging these days was a disgrace.

"I believe they need a kick in the arse to do it.

"They cannot change the decision now, and they have absolutely destroyed Jack Catterall’s life and career." It's disgraceful."

Fury's promote Frank Warren said that he didn't want any British judges in The Gypsy King's clash against Dillian Whyte April 23.

He stated, "This must stop. It was horrible for Jack, and it is destroying the credibility of boxing.

They would be downgraded if they were football referees, but they just move on to the next show with no accountability.

"I don't want British officials for Fury Whyte."

Fury agreed with his promoter that he doesn't want any British judges involved.

TalkSPORT's heavyweight champion said that he had seen an article in which Frank Warren stated that there would not be British judges for the fight. He also reiterated his belief.

"Those words echo throughout my training camp. This fight does not need British judges. We need experienced judges who will do the right things.

"If Dillian Whyte defeats me, give him that decision. Don't try to rob anyone of this fight. Give the man the decision and give him what he deserves.

"If you win, please do the same for me. These fighters in boxing don't need any gifts and don't want to be robbed.

People want to win if it's won, and lose if it's lost. We've seen many boxing decisions in the opposite direction, and I just wonder "what are they looking at?"
