TYSON FURY was pictured in Dubai with his arm wrapped around a smiling Daniel Kinahan.
Former pro fighter Zaid Khan posted an Instagram photo featuring the world heavyweight champion and Irish drug kingpin.
Zaid Khan, a former boxer, is now with Tyson Fury
Kinahan was spotted with Fury at TK MMA's Fitness gym.
Apart from Kinahan none of the other defendants have criminal links, but the Dubliner was named in court as the headof one of Europe's most powerful drug cartels.
MTK Global was co-founded by Kinahan and Fury.
The Gypsy King previously described Kinahan, despite him allegedly having left the promotion in 2017 as well as boxing in general in 2020.
Fury, in a famous video, thanked the mobster who got him his super-fight with Anthony Joshua "over the line" before the bout fell through.
He said in the 2020 video: "I'm just following getting off the telephone there with Daniel Kinahan.
"He just informed me that the largest fight in British boxing history had just been agreed.
"Big shoutout to Dan, he did it! Literally, it was over the line. Two fight deal."
Kinahan has been pictured with Fury, but Fury isn’t the only prominent fighter in recent months.
He was spotted alongside MMA superstar Darren Till in December, along with other boxers like Sunny Edwards and Lee McGregor.
None of these fighters has any criminal links.
Till commented on the snap and said, "Good stroll on Dubai's beach tonight with one of my good friends."
CLOSING IN
InSight Crime, an international agency that monitors crime and security, named Kinahan earlier that month as one of the leaders in a super-cartel that smuggled 33 tonnes of cocaine into the Netherlands worth a staggering PS5.8billion. This was just 2018 alone.
The US Drugs Enforcement Agency has taken down the gang.
InSight Crime stated that Kinahan was the last remaining member of the consortium at large.
Ridouan Tghi, Naoufal "Belly" Fassih, and Raffaele Imperiale were the other leaders of this cartel.
As he waits for his trial in the Netherlands, Dutch-Moroccan Taghi (43), is currently being held in Holland. After being arrested for a fake passport, he was expelled from Dubai in 2019.
Kinahan was able to escape being arrested as part of the operation after he went to Dubai to meet lawyers for Taghi.
Fassih, 37 years old, is currently in Dutch jail after being convicted of one murder and one attempted assassination.
After six years of being on the run from Italian authorities, Mafia Don Imperiale, 48 was finally captured in Dubai in 2021.
He is currently in Dubai custody and will be returned to Italy to serve eight year sentences for drug offences.
