TYSON FURY will cheer on Anthony Joshua against Oleksandr Uzyk on Saturday in order to secure their PS200million superfight.
Joshua, the undefeated champion 6ft 9in WBC will be watching from his Las Vegas home as he prepares to play in his October 9 Trilogy with Deontay wilder.
Tyson Fury claims he would rather fight Anthony Joshua than Oleksandr Uzyk
Fans will once again demand a undisputed fight - the largest fight in British boxing history.
Fury believes that Joshua could have problems with Usyk, a 6ft 4in Southpaw, if he can overcome this size difference.
Fury stated that he watches all boxing matches, and every one that is contested, so he will watch a heavyweight championship bout.
"Do I want him winning? Yes. It doesn't make sense for me to beat Usyk up.
Joshua would be my favorite fighter. It's a larger fight that people want to see and it's more exciting.
"He's got a tough battle, you know?" Usyk is not a mug. People tell me that Usyk is too small. But he's larger than Muhammad Ali. He's also bigger than Mike Tyson. Evander Holyfield is even bigger.
"All those guys are big, the same size, and the same weight. He is a great fighter.
"If Usyk wins, it will cost us a few quid.
"But then again, we have lost a lot of money in the past so it doesn’t really matter. There is plenty of money to be had.
Eddie Hearn, the promoter of Joshua's fight, will play a significant role in that fight.
The Essex fighter mogul just spoke to the London 2012 Olympic champion about extending his contract.
Hearn saw the Adonis shrink during the training camp, and now he has to support his attempt to outsmart Ukraine's mastermind.
He stated that he was less concerned about this fight than he was about the previous fights, even though Usyk's performance is excellent.
"AJ doesn't believe in being too big or too strong. Many people believe that AJ will be too strong and too big.
Although AJ doesn't rely on that, I think it - too big and too strong. He's also too fast and smart, and I think that way.
"AJ is a big thinker about boxing, and skill. He doesn't need to be able to compete with Usyk, but I do want him to spark his passion. He'll probably stop me, I think."
BT Sport Box Office is showing Fury v Wilder: The Trilogy live in the UK exclusively on Saturday, October 9th.
