It completed the four rounds, which was enough for the Brits to be comfortable with. However, the performance lacked conviction.

Paul, 24 beat former UFC champion Tyron Woodley 39 later in the night and set up a celebrity grudge bout with Fury, 22.

Fury continues to make fun of his rivals' performances on YouTube, but Tyson Fury claims it is all part and parcel of Fury's masterplan.

Queensberry Promotions was told by him: "Tommy made a terrible appearance to get the fight. That is what smart people do."

"Tommy could have the worst night of his life and still beat Jake Paul."

He could likely turn up with two broken left hands, broken ribs, and his clothes on the back and a flue, and still beat him.

"That's how confident I feel that Jake Paul can defeat me."

Paul beat YouTuber "AnEsonGib", ex-NBA star Nate Robinson (37), and Ben Askren (37).

His win against Woodley was his largest to date. Fury, however, improved to 7-0 when he beat Taylor, 32.

Tyson, 33-year-old WBC heavyweight champion, was joined by Tommy and his dad John in a press conference that included Paul.

He predicted that Jake Paul would be severely knocked unconscious. "Jake Paul and Logan Paul are not fighters. Tommy will knock him out next week.
