EDDIE HEARN has stated that he believes the purse bids for Tyson Fury's fight against Dillian Whyte will be delayed a THIRD-time.
Oleksandr Uzyk, the Gypsy King, is currently in negotiations to meet him over a match-up that will be held in the Middle East.
Dillian Whyte, a British banger, is Fury's mandatory challenger to the WBC belt.
If that fight happens, Whyte or Anthony Joshua will need to be paid step aside money. Joshua is currently preparing for his rematch with the unbeaten Ukrainian.
Amazingly, the pair could be able to demand up to PS20million together - PS15m for AJ and PS5m for Whyte.
Fury's WBC mandatory opponent Whyte is currently in court with the WBC over the split of his purse for his title shot.
The domestic dust-up was originally scheduled for January 11, but the purse bids were rescheduled for January 18.
Hearn is now desperate to make a significant bid for the fight and has stated that he believes Friday’s purse bid will be pushed back.
The Matchroom promoter stated to Mirror: "I doubt that we'll see it. Although we are ready, I don't think we will see it.
Hearn commented on step aside money and said: "There is substantial amount of money.
"There are many people who would like to make this happen.
"But it's more than just the money. It's about how you plan - AJ doesn’t want anyone to come and give AJ money.
"He wants to know the real plan, and that's what Dillian Whyte has been waiting for, and if that means he must wait a few more months, that's fine, but how will it work?
"Right now I think that the two fights are the favourite, but we'll have to wait and see.
"It's complicated and takes a while. Sometimes it will quieten down and then come back."
