TYSON FURY urged Anthony Joshua not to swing at Oleksandr Uzyk in their rematch, but claimed that Deontay Wilder would defeat them both.
Fury was left 'wounded" after AJ beat him by Usyk. This resulted in a historic, all British title decider.
Tyson Fury claimed that Deontay Wilder beats Anthony Joshua
Joshua, who was the victim of a 12-round masterclass, has already indicated that he will be exercising his right to an immediate match.
Outspoken Fury refused salt in the wounds and instead offered support to his long-standing rival, who has to roll the dice with Usyk.
He stated that he was not concerned about Joshua or Usyk and that he would not get him to slagging anyone off. I won't kick anyone when they are down.
"I don't want to kick someone who is suffering from mental illness after such a long time.
"There is no secret or rocket science to winning the rematch. Fighters try to make it technical by downloading data and all that bulls ***.
"And if things aren't going as planned, change it up and try something else. Don't be a coulda-shoulda-woulda man.
Joshua's best advice is to stay focused, keep his front foot forward, and swing away, swingaway.
Fury, 33, was initially in talks to face Joshua (31), but he failed to leave his contract for a trilogy fight with Wilder (35)
It meant that AJ had to defend Usyk, 34. Now AJ must fight for his career again.
If Fury defeats Wilder on October 9, that sets him up to unify the division.
He warned Joshua and Usyk not to be on his mind. He believes he has the most dangerous opponent of all the rest.
Fury explained that Usyk did his work and good luck to him. It was amazing. Yes.
Joshua was my goal, but he didn't win. That's not my business. I don't get involved in the affairs of others.
"Wilder beats Joshua, Usyk, and all other fighters."
