TYSON FURY will be fighting Dillian Whyte for the all-British title of world heavyweight champion.
Whyte is Fury's mandatory challenger in The Ring magazine titles and WBC.
Fury defeated Wilder with an emphatic knockout
According to Michael Benson the WBC gave Fury a 30 day ultimatum after his fight with Deontay wilder in order to set up a unification event with WBA, IBF and WBO champion Oleksandr Uzyk.
They have now met the deadline and are ready to order Fury to take on Whyte.
TalkSPORT's Benson stated on Twitter that "The WBC gave Tyson Fury a fight with Oleksandr Uzyk 30 days after Deontay Wilder's win. Or he would have to defend against Dillian whyte."
"This deadline is now past. WBC will address all mandateries on Tuesday. Fury vs Whyte is expected to be ordered by the WBC.
Otto Wallin, 33, was set to face Whyte at the end last month. This fight would have been a factor in Fury's next fight.
However, the Brit was reportedly injured during his Portugal training camp.
The Body Snatcher was able to get by Wallin thanks to it.
Whyte addressed claims that his injury occurred at a convenient time and said: "We have to show some respect for my name. Listen, I won't stop fighting anyone.
"I'm always ready to fight and willing to go, but my injury prevented me from making the fight."
