TYSON FURY, the undefeated WBC heavyweight champion, has shocked fans by revealing that he still shops at Asda, despite his massive net worth of over £50million.
Thrilling Trilogy and Rematch
Fury, who boasts an impressive professional record of 33-0-1, recently engaged in a thrilling trilogy with Deontay Wilder and is set for a rematch with Dillian Whyte in 2022. These fights alone reportedly earned him a whopping £70million.
Looking for a Deal
However, despite his immense wealth, Fury has confessed that he is always on the lookout for a bargain. In an interview during fight week, he pondered on whether there is a specific "rich person shop" and expressed his preference for low-budget supermarkets like Asda.
“Where do rich people shop? Is there a rich person shop, like, 'I'm only shopping here because it's for rich people.' I don't think so," Fury mused. "I think I've tightened my belt in the last five years I would say. Years ago, I'd buy expensive things, enjoy expensive things. Now I won't because I don't think I deserve them."

“Once a Poor Man, Always a Poor Man”
Fury further revealed his love for cheap Asda chocolate fingers and fake cans of Coke, stating that he prefers getting multiple chocolate bars for £1.20 rather than a single one, despite the fact that he ends up eating them all. He attributed this mindset to his humble background, saying, "“Once a poor man, always a poor man. You never leave it, ever."
He continued, "I love Asda because it always has good deals on. Shout out Asda. A can of Cokes might be £10.50, but then they're on sale for four quid, but I'd never buy them if they were £10.50."
Upcoming Fight
Fury is currently preparing for his upcoming fight against former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
It seems that even with his extraordinary success and wealth, Tyson Fury remains a down-to-earth fighter who knows the value of a good deal.
