In an interview with Gary Neville, the Gypsy King responded to AJ's claim he would'smoke Fury' in response.

Joshua and Fury were scheduled to meet in the ring on August, but contracts were not finalised.

AJ stated that Neville and AJ were discussing the fight on The Overlap YouTube channel.

"We had the deal in hand. We found the venue, and they failed to pay me and the boxing world.

"I'll smoke him!" It's irritating.

Fury followed Joshua since then as a guest on The Overlap, and was asked by Neville to respond to his comments.

The 33-year old said that AJ could not even smoke a cigarette. He doesn't have the minerals to defeat a man like mine.

"I told Eddie Hearn [AJ’s promoter] straight that the difference between me and him was that he is a businessman while I am a f***ing Spartan.

"And I'll show it to him when I get into the ring. He won't last six rounds, and I will absolutely destroy that bodybuilder. It will end quickly.

"He and his entire team know that. That's why Eddie Hearn has been guiding me around for the past ten years."

Neville asked: "Has Eddie Hearn ever attempted to sign you?"

Fury replied, "He has. Fury had the chance to do it.

"I believe he stated in an interview that it was his biggest regret that he hadn't signed the Gypsy King up."

Neville then asked Fury if he liked Hearn. The boxer responded: "Eddie Hearn is a southern w***er.

"I don’t know if I can say that on my show?"

"I love terrorizing Eddie because he loves talking s**t about people he has nothing to do.

"Eddie has never spoken rubbish about me, because he knows that it gets him hits and viewers on interviews.

"At the end, what has he ever accomplished in his life?" He has never been a boxer.

He acts like he's the world heavyweight champion but he isn’t. He is a businessman.

"There are many heavyweight world champions out there, but only one real, true heavyweight champion - that would be me.

Fury later said that he respected Joshua and told Neville that he did.

"And I respect his boxing skills, but I also respect him for being a fighter. He was a drug dealer in his youth and all the rest of it. But he has changed everything to become a champion.

"He has made a lot of money and is now an ambassador for the game. It has changed the lives of his family and the direction they are going."

Fury claimed that AJ would love him if he got to know the Gypsy King beyond the sport.

He said, "I've seen interviews where he claims that I'm his worst enemy. That he hates my but I have never met him."

"I have met him once, but we never had any personal stuff [interactions], so I don't know if they hate me.

I think he loves me but pretends to hate me. He was once a fan of mine when I was a champion, but he was no one.

"He used to follow my on Instagram and Twitter, and all the rest.

"And when he was a boxer, he became a big famous guy - a movie star. And all of a sudden, he stopped following me and now I am his worst enemy!"
