Tyson Fury is furious at not being able to fight Dillian Whyte and has set a THREE-MONTH deadline for his Brit rival to get a bout

Dillian Whyte has been warned by TYSON FURY that he has only three months to resolve his legal dispute with the WBC and get their showdown secured.

Mexican sanctioning body, with which Whyte is the No1 contender for more than four years, was expected to order last week's fight at their annual convention.

Only two of his 30 professional fights have been lost by Whyte

They refused to order the fight until Whyte, interim champ, drops or closes the legal cases against him over the frustrating delay in his world title shot.

Fury, 33 years old, lost the largest fight in British boxing history when a US judge ordered him to fight Deontay wilder instead of Anthony Joshua. Fury has now given his Brit counterpart a worrying deadline.

Fury said that he thought he was going to fight Dillian Whyte after watching his light-heavyweight cousin, Hosea Burton lose at Wembley Arena on Saturday night. However, he didn't tell IFL what he is doing in his private life.

"He has a court matter going on and it's kinda s *****, because I know how long arbitrations can take because my own with Deontay wilder took 18 months.

"I pray he doesn't get caught in the long grass, and I hope I don’t get forced to fight again like a voluntary defense.

"But I don’t care, they are all just work outs for me. I will destroy them all as I have done every day of my life.

"It doesn't matter if it's Dillian Whyte or Dillian Blue.

"I don't want to wait around for others, I will fight again in February, or early March if necessary, to defend my WBC heavyweight title."

Eddie Hearn, Whyte's longtime business partner, is furious at the latest delay in the 33-year old's quest for greatness.

The Matchroom boss believes it will be Fury and Whyte's next fight.

Fury, however, is a big posterboy for the non profit organisation that - just like its three rivals the WBA and IBF - has a history of bentking their rules and orders in order to serve their agendas.

The WBC could be angry at Whyte for bringing his fight to them into courtroom. It seems very possible that they could use total absence of regulation to get their way.

Trash-talking Fury appears to be already planning a Spring showdown with Whyte.

SunSport knows that Joe Joyce, a highly-ranked Londoner who is also a promotional stablemate, is the shock choice for the challenge.

Fury roared, "I'm due for an easy fight so DillianWhyte would have made a great choice. A big punch bag with legs is what I want and he would have made a good candidate.

"But he also has his own legal issues that he must resolve first."

"I don’t care who I fight, but I will be fighting at the beginning of February or March, 100 percent guaranteed.

"And I don’t care who it is, the outcome is always same, I will win."
