Tyson Fury is 'trying' to get an undisputed fight with Anthony Joshua scheduled for December, as he believes Wilder is 'no threat.

TYSON FURY wants his long-awaited fight for the undisputed heavyweight title with Anthony Joshua to be held in December.

Last month, the WBC heavyweight champion was scheduled to face AJ in Saudi Arabia. However, Deontay Wilder ordered a three-fight series.

The Gypsy King has set his sights on a December showdown against AJ

Fury would like to share the ring before the year ends with his Brit counterpart, provided that they can get through their bouts with Wilder or Oleksandr Usyk.

John, the Gypsy King's father, said to GiveMeSport that he was trying to get Joshua in December.

"We are going to that fight this year.

"Because Wilder is no threat once he has done the camp right.

Wilder is fine if he follows the rules. He beat Wilder twice, beat Wilder like a ragdoll, and beat him to a pulp the last time.

"Wilder has nothing to offer him, but that huge punch.

"And believe me, I see in the new trainer, that we know a lot more about him as well, so there's no fear."

Wilder was stopped by Fury in round seven of their Sin City showdown.

His old man insists that he isn't overlooking The Bronze Bomber and adds: "He's focusing on Wilder first.

"AJ doesn't want to play a role in his head at the moment, because he thinks about Wilder.

"But yeah, get out of the way, AJ here!

Fury, a fan favourite, has not been in the ring since Wilder's stunning dethronement. Wilder has now hired a new coach to help him prepare for their third clash.

John can't see the outcome and is planning to give his son a break after the fight, before he resumes preparations for AJ.

According to the 57-year old, "He's been inactive [Tyson], but Wilder has also been inactive for two years. They've done nothing."

"But Tyson is a fighter I can see today. He knocked him out in four rounds.

"I'm talking about KOing him properly, getting the job done, where there are no arguments, and flat out on his back.

"And then, when that's done out the way," few weeks rest, and on to Joshua.

Fury might have his sights set on a December fight with Joshua, but Eddie Hearn does not see the fight happening before 'January or Feb' 2022.

He stated to iFL TV, "I believe that was pretty much true anyway."

"But fighting September 25 is very difficult.

"And a lot our conversations now about undisputed fight were end of Jan, February.

"So it probably helps. Fury may have wanted to fight again in November or December.

"And then, the whole thing is, like. never-ending."
