ANTHONY JOSHUA was accused of being too 'chinny to beat Oleksandr Uzyk. The pair will rematch on April 4th'.
Joshua lost 12 rounds to Usyk, who won the WBA and IBF belts.
Frank Warren, Tyson Fury, and Bob Arum
The British defiantly invoked his right for an immediate rematch.
It eliminates any possibility of Usyk stepping aside in order to allow Tyson Fury (33), WBC champion, to unify against Usyk, 35, who recently defeated Deontay Wilder (35)
Bob Arum, Fury's US promoter, hit out at Eddie Hearn & AJ for refusing sit out. He has also written off their chances to win the rematch.
FightHub's Arum said that Joshua would not be willing to take a step back and would like to fight again.
"Which is kind of stupidity on his behalf because he will not beat Usyk in his next bout no matter what strategy he uses.
Joshua is too talented and a little chinny.
"The only way to defeat Usyk is by pinning him, cornering him with your high-weight and putting pressure on him.
"But then, he can unload against your. Tyson Fury is capable of absorbing that, but Anthony Joshua is a suspect chin.
Fury will now be ordered to fight the winner between DillianWhyte (33), and Otto Wallin (30), who will fight at the end.
Arum believes he will be able to enter an undisputed title decider in October, as he predicted AJ’s return date.
He stated: "Joshua, Usyk. I think they're going wait until April 4.
"I believe Fury will fight again March or April. We can then look at September or October matches for unification.
