Tyson Fury is not bothered about the outcome of the upcoming crossover clash between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou, despite the winner being lined up to face him next. The former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua will face the ex-UFC champ Ngannou in a multi-million-pound showdown on Friday night.
Fury's Stance
Tyson Fury expressed his lack of interest in the Joshua vs. Ngannou fight, stating, "I don’t know [how that fight goes] and I don’t care, to be honest." He emphasized that any man can win the fight, as they are both heavyweight giants. Despite his indifference, Fury acknowledged that it will likely be an entertaining bout.
Previous Encounter with Ngannou
Fury welcomed Ngannou to the boxing world last October in a fight that was criticized as a mismatch. The WBC king was cut and dropped by Ngannou in the third round but managed to secure the victory.
Upcoming Fight with Usyk
Fury was initially set to face Oleksandr Usyk last month in a highly anticipated bout for the undisputed heavyweight title. However, the fight was postponed due to a cut above Fury's right eye. The rescheduled fight is now set for May 18, where the winner will become the first undisputed ruler of the heavyweight division in nearly 25 years.
