TYSON FURY claimed that he met the 'true Anthony Joshua" during a heated telephone call with his rival. He called the two-time world heavyweight champion a bully'.

Fury stated that Fury called me one day to tell me he was going to do this and that to me. Let's just say it didn't go well for Fury. I told him the truth. It hurts always to tell the truth."

They had an apparently amicable relationship up until recently. They sparred as children, spoke on FaceTime, and even ran into each other while on holiday in Marbella.

Fury said that AJ is a good friend and that AJ would love him if they got to get to know one another.

He continued, "I respect you not just because you box," but because you come from a rough area in the council.

He was a drug dealer in his youth and all that stuff. But he has changed everything to be a champion."

Fury said that their bust-up was "just out of the blue." Fury decided to call me, a telling off phone.

"I don’t believe he liked the ending of the book. I won't be told off.

"I told him the truth, and it always hurts. Anthony Joshua is definitely someone I have met. I was not a nice person.

"Someone who believed he was going to bluff me. He is that type of person.

Joshua claimed that Fury wouldn't be able sell out Wembley Stadium if Joshua was not there.

According to the 31-year old, Fury would have sold 90,000 seats in stadiums. He has never been able to draw such large crowds, and that's until he fights me.

Fury has not fought professionally since February 2020's bout against Deontay Wilder, which he won via technical knockout in round 7.

Joshua on the other side, however, kept his WBA (Super), IBF/WBO, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles by stopping Kubrat Pulev in the ninth round in December 2020.

Fury and AJ had previously agreed that they would fight in a world heavyweight title bout. However, the fight ended in defeat when Fury was ordered to face Deontay wilder by an arbitrator.

According to reports, the fight was scheduled for 14 August in Saudi Arabia. However, Fury will face Deontay Wilder in chapter three of their tri-fight on 9 October in Nevada, USA.

Joshua will be facing Ukrainian heavyweight Oleksandr Uzyk at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 25 to defend his titles.

After their fight ended in a stalemate, Joshua called Fury on social media and claimed that Fury never intended to fight him.

He stated: "Tyson Fury, the world now sees your fraud as you are. You've let boxing down! You led the fans on by lying to them. You used my name to gain clout, not fight.

If Fury or Joshua win their fights, then talks will resume about the highly-anticipated all British heavyweight match for 2022.
