Tyson Fury said he could retire following Deontay Wilder, and never fight Anthony Joshua - because he doesn’t need another PS250m.

TYSON FURY revealed that he may retire following his fight with Deontay Wester in a trilogy and will never again face Anthony Joshua, his heavyweight rival.

The 33-year old has won all four of his world titles in his career. He was victorious in the seventh round against Wilder to claim the WBC title.

Joshua lost to Usyk, and his hopes of fighting Fury vanished.

Now, The Gypsy King will be stepping back into the ring alongside the American and has admitted that it may be his last fight.

He said this on BBC's 5 Live podcast: "Listen, you could walk away today without ever looking at boxing again. I've done everything I've done, and it cannot be taken away."

"People will always remember Tyson Fury, the mad man who fought everyone. He didn't care about anyone.

"Even the most powerful punchers of our generation didn’t intimidate him. He crossed the pond to fight Klitschko in Germany.

"No one can speak about me except that I did what it was I did, and I'm proud of that."

It would end the speculation that Fury might fight Joshua if he does retire.

They were all set to meet this summer, but an arbitrator decided that Wilder was entitled to a third bout against Fury.

The idea of an all-British dustup was further thwarted when Joshua lost his three world titles following a unanimous defeat to Usyk last week.

Fury's opponent Wilder, however, has hinted that he is nearing the end of his career.

According to the Last Stand Podcast, The Bronze Bomber said: "I feel it getting closer, retirement... I'm looking for one champion, one face and one name.
