TYSON FURY believes he could beat Oleksandr Uzyk in just ONE WEEK.
Anthony Joshua, 35, was defeated by the Ukrainian for the second time in a weekend fight to defend his title as world heavyweight champion.
Fury has destroyed the abilities of Joshua and Usyk
Joshua defeated Usyk at the weekend to defend his world heavyweight title.
As the division prepares for Lennox Lewis' first undisputed champion, Fury appears to be in a collision with him. Fury has the WBC championship belt.
Fury insists that he will retire for PS500 million, but he doesn't believe Usyk is a threat.
TalkSPORT spoke to him and he stated that Usyk could be beat in a week of training. He's a middleweight so I'll be putting my fists through him.
"When Usyk was a amateur boxer, sucking his mother’s nipples to get him a fight, I was the British heavyweight champion.
"He was an amateur boxer who weighed 75 kg. 75kg!? He is a middleweight, that's why I call him such.
"I have never said that it would be difficult work. He is a 'pound-for pound legend', but I don't rate him!
After plans for an all-British match-up were thwarted by AJ's third loss in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, Fury took aim at Joshua.
"I don't have any real interest in Usyk," said the Gypsy King. A man that no one can actually say his name. A middleweight who is pumped up?
"It's not his fault he's gone to and battered AJ some bodybuilder! It wasn't my fault that it happened twice in one.
"There has always been me. They fight, but they lose. Joshua is not to be disrespected. But at the highest level of world-class boxing, he can't do it.
After his victory over Joshua, Usyk said that he would not fight against Fury unless it was against him.
Fury claimed that he could beat Joshua and Usyk on the same night, which Fury responded to.
He said simply, "That's what his dreams are every day." He's going to beat me."
Joshua suffered a second defeat at Usyk within the span of 11 months
