TYSON FURY said he couldn't have been in a better place after 11 days of non-stop training, and teased that 'big news' was on the horizon.
The WBC heavyweight champion is coming off an 11th round knockout in his epic trilogy fight with Deontay wilder.
Tyson Fury said he couldn't have been in a better place after spending 11 days of non-stop training.
Fury is keen to return before March, and has started training again with flying colors.
On Twitter, he said: "For eleven days now guys, I've run every morning and trained each night, weights & cardio.
"I feel absolutely fantastic. I could not be in a better place if it wasn't for you." We are still waiting for some major news.
After defeating Wilder, Fury, now 33, was ordered to defend his title, against Whyte (33)
However, Whyte was involved in a legal dispute regarding the percentage of purse bids. This had been limiting negotiations.
Fury is now only required to split 20% with his rival in their possible showdown.

After comparing their fight purses and deciding to accept Top Rank's request for a split of 80/20, Mauricio Sulaiman, president of WBC accepted.
Sulaiman stated to BoxingScene that the consideration for the 80/20 split is based on the purses earned by fighters in recent fights.
Bob Arum, a US promoter, has stated that if Whyte doesn't accept the terms, Andy Ruiz Jr., 32, and Robert Helenius 38 are alternate opponents.
Most commonly, Ruiz is remembered for defeating Anthony Joshua (32), in June 2019. However, he lost the rematch six years later.
Helenius has a record of three wins, his last two being against Adam Kownacki (32).
