Strowman was defeated by the heavyweight boxer in the Middle East

Four months later, he returned to boxing and defeated Deontay Wilder for the WBC heavyweight title.

Fury would beat Wilder in October 2021. Then, he would defend his belt in April when he brutally defeated Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium.

Fury stated again that he would be retiring from boxing after his win over Whyte.

He claimed that it would cost PS500million to get him back in the boxing ring, despite the fact that many wanted him to face the winner from the rematch between Oleksandr Uzyk and Anthony Joshua.

Fury is linked to an exhibition match against UFC champion Francis Ngannou, and Thor - real title Hafthor Bornsson.

According to GiveMeSport however, the next in-ring action for the world heavyweight champion is scheduled to take place in the WWE.

Fury said earlier in the year that he would return to wrestling in July and September.

The report states that he has other commitments outside of the ring, including a meet and greet tour. It is likely that his return would be at Clash at the Castle in September 3.

The Principality Stadium in Cardiff will host the event - WWE's first UK stadium concert in over 30 years.

There are no plans to bring Fury back, and it is not clear if it would be for wrestling or just an appearance in the ring.

Drew McIntyre, the WWE's superstar, has been having a long and frank exchange with the undefeated boxer.

The clash with Roman Reigns, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Clash at the Castle is being linked to the Scottish wrestler. Fury might need a different opponent.
