Fury's Training Camp Questioned

Tyson Fury is reportedly set to travel to Saudi Arabia two months before his highly anticipated fight against Oleksandr Usyk, following scrutiny of his training camp.

Historic Unification Bout on February 17

The heavyweight division's first ever four-belt title unification between Fury and Usyk is scheduled to take place on February 17 in Riyadh.

Early Departure on December 30

According to the Daily Star, Fury will make his way to the Middle East on December 30, spending seven weeks preparing for the bout. This means he will be away from home for Christmas and miss out on New Year's celebrations.

Previous Close Call with Ngannou

In October, Fury narrowly escaped disaster in a crossover clash with former UFC champion Francis Ngannou. He was dropped during the fight and controversially came away with a win on the scorecards.

Dad Criticizes Training Camp

Fury's father, John, expressed dissatisfaction with his son's training camp for the Ngannou fight, calling it a "CIRCUS" and claiming it was in decline. This led to concerns that Usyk could secure a victory.

Promoter Defends Fury's Camp

Frank Warren, Fury's promoter, defended the undefeated WBC champion, stating that it is ultimately Tyson's decision on who trains him. Warren emphasized that everyone has their own opinions, including Fury's father.

Current Training Camp

Fury is currently training in his base in Morecambe, sparring with unbeaten prospects Thomas Carty and Moses Itauma. His head coach, Sugarhill Steward, has also joined him from America to oversee the preparations.
