TYSON FURY will defend his title as world heavyweight champion at Old Trafford... with KO Cristiano Ronaldo as Manchester’s No. 1 attraction.
The Gypsy King told the Red Devils' footballing star: "This town isn't big enough to the both of us!"
Next Saturday, Fury, a WBC champion and Red Devils fan Fury will face Deontay Wilder in their Las Vegas trio fight.
The Manchester-born fighter is keen to compete in a world-title bout at United's 76,000-seater arena. This will be the first time the fight has been in the United stadium since Chris Eubank-Nigel Benn draw, which was witnessed by 42,000 people there 28 years ago.
Fury, 33 years old, spoke from Las Vegas to Sunsport. He said: "I have two fights left here, but I'd love for a world title fight to return to Manchester.
"It was always a dream of mine that I would fight at Old Trafford.
"The last fight was Eubank against Benn in 1993, and it was huge.
"I'm so happy Ronaldo is back at Old Trafford. But this town ain’t big enough to support us both!"
It would be a problem if I lived in Manchester. He's only an hour away from me on the Morecambe motorway so he has plenty of distance.
Fury loves his PS500,000 Morecambe house.
He insists that Paris was not affected by the fuel shortage in her country.
He laughed and said, "We don’t get petrol queues at Morecambe, we barely even get any traffic!"
"We don’t get much in Morecambe except for wind and rain."
"But the best thing about Morecambe, is that we don't have a large population."
