The Gypsy King retained his crown with an emphatic knockout in October 2013. Unification against Anthony Joshua was also planned.

AJ lost his title defense to Oleksandr Usyk, and a rematch was delayed due to Usyk's decision not to fight for Ukraine against Russia.

Fury now turns his attention to Dillian Whyte (also 33), as he once again puts his belt on the line.

They said it!

Tyson Fury suggested that he would rather retire from fighting Dillian Whyte than face the likes Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Ursky.

"The Gypsy King" said that money is the only thing that can be gained. After this fight, I will have more than PS100million.

"If I can afford that, then I don't deserve anything more," I say.

"I'm aware that Mike Tyson spent half of a billion, Evander Holyfield 400million, and all the rest. But I don’t live like their flashy lifestyles.

"I live in Morecambe, in Lancashire. It's very affordable. I don't have any bad habits, like gambling a lot.

"I don’t do anything." I won't spend the money that I have."

Whyte - who didn't appear at the conference - previously stated about Fury fighting: "Wherever and whenever they want it, I don’t care."

"I have been trying to fight him since a long time. He's been a threat to my health for years.

"I want to fight him now for the world title."
