Heavyweight Showdown
Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are gearing up for an epic rematch to cap off a stellar year of heavyweight boxing. The highly-anticipated showdown promises to be another fight-of-the-year contender.
Previous Encounter
In their last bout, Usyk secured a split decision victory and came close to stopping the Gypsy King in the ninth round. The two fighters were battling for a total of six belts, including the WBC, IBF, IBO, WBO, WBA (Super), and The Ring titles, along with a new "undisputed" belt introduced by Turki Alalshikh.
Unification Title
Usyk's reign as undisputed champion was short-lived as he was stripped of the IBF belt due to a mandatory defense issue. The belt was passed to interim holder Daniel Dubois, who defended it impressively with a TKO victory over Anthony Joshua. The upcoming rematch will see Fury and Usyk vying for five heavyweight titles.
Belts on the Line
The heavyweight titles up for grabs include the IBO, WBC, WBO, WBA (Super), and The Ring belt. While the WBA (Super) title is not governed by a boxing body, it carries significant weight in the boxing world.
How to Watch
Fans can catch all the action from the Fury vs. Usyk rematch on DAZN PPV, TNT Sports, and Sky Sports. The event will be available as a pay-per-view broadcast on all three platforms, with prices ranging from £24.95 to £24.99. Viewers can also stream the fight on the respective apps, but a PPV purchase is required, even for subscribers. Stay tuned to SunSport for live coverage of the event from Riyadh.
