Hasim Rahaman, a former champion in unified heavyweight, believes that Fury will prevail over Usyk
Slick southpaw Usyk gave a performance that was arguably his best in a rematch against Anthony Joshua earlier this year. Hasim Rahman is convinced that he will beat the Brit.
FightHype spoke with the former heavyweight champion, saying that Usyk was "the best heavyweight currently fighting."
"I believe Fury imitates Usyk and he has had a lot success with it."
"Fighting slow, plodding heavyweights [who] aren't] boxing like that.
"Everything Fury can box, Usyk can do better."
Raham believes Uysk's "work ethic" as a cruiserweight will help him win against Fury.
He said, "With heavyweights it is different. Heavyweights are lazy and don't have a work ethic. It's slightly different for the smaller men.
"With Usyk’s boxing intelligence, that’s going to be a major, major role. The smaller guys' IQs tend to cancel out each other a lot of the time.
Fury, 34 years old, decided to end his retirement after watching Usyk win a split-decision defeat over Joshua.
Fury, WBC heavyweight king, has been blown away by Usyk's performance in the fight against AJ.
SunSport was informed by a source close to Tyson that he is training hard.
"He is in fight mode and completely focused on Usyk.
"Ever since the Usyk-vs Joshua fight, he's been at the gym, on road and sparring.
He wants to be in his best shape and is working towards a contest in 2023.
"Right now, he's like a man possessed. Retirement is not the last thing on him mind.
Tyson's happy place is training, and right now he works tirelessly.
