Long-awaited Battle of Britain
Tyson Fury has revealed he is prepared to wait until he is 50 years old to finally face off against fellow British boxing superstar Anthony Joshua. The anticipated match between the two heavyweights has been in the making for years, with both fighters circling each other but never stepping into the ring together.
Setback for Joshua
Initially lined up for a double-header fight next year that would have taken place from Saudi Arabia to London, plans were derailed after Joshua suffered a knockout loss to Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium. This loss has put a temporary pause on the long-awaited showdown between Fury and Joshua.
No escape for Joshua
Despite the setback, Fury, aged 36, made it clear that there is no escaping their Battle of Britain, emphasizing that the fight will happen sooner or later. Fury confidently stated that even at 50 years old, the two would still sell out Wembley stadium for their highly anticipated match.
Usyk and Dubois in the mix
Oleksandr Usyk, who defeated Fury to become the first four-belt undisputed heavyweight champion, had to vacate his IBF title to proceed with the rematch against Fury. Meanwhile, Dubois, who inherited the IBF title, stunned the boxing world by knocking out Joshua in their recent match, adding another twist to the heavyweight division.

Joshua's next moves
Joshua, aged 34, has been in discussions with promoter Eddie Hearn and Saudi boxing figure Turki Alalshikh about his next steps. A rematch with Dubois is reportedly in the works for February, further delaying the much-anticipated showdown between Joshua and Fury.
