Instead, the rematch was moved to October 9, and the Gypsy King flew back from the UK to re-start the camp. This time, he took extra precautions.
Fury also posted a video online and addressed his heavyweight opponent. He sent out a strong warning.
He said, "Another day at the gym. I'm here for the big dose, the big useless dose, the excuse maker.
"The big man who's not of (inaudible), the big sausage. You big s***house.
Dillian Whyte, a fellow heavyweight, saw the post and shared the link with the simple caption "You are a *****."."
Fury, 32, drew in Wilder, 35 in 2018, but won the rematch brilliantly two years later.
He tried to leave the contract trilogy but believed it expired. This allowed him to confront Anthony Joshua, 31.
Wilder won the arbitration case and the verdict was given to him. This set up the rivals for a second fight.
"EXCUSE MAKER"
Between the hearing and the loss, the American attributed his loss to wild accusations and excuses that he made, without any evidence.
Fury had WEIGHTS in his hands and Wilder's water was spiked.
WBC champion Malik Scott, 40, was again attacked by the Bronze Bomber.
Fury on social media: "This guy is a real workhorse. This bully excuse-maker is a real one. This is not a warrior nor a man. Beat the mug two times.
"I have battered him, and his trainer. But still talking s***. Real p *****s
After Wilder's partner Telli swift questioned Fury's decision to withdraw from the fight, the feud only got worse. Swift claimed that the Brit was simply 'buying his time'.
He claimed he was innocent and said that his sparring partners were to blame for the virus.
Fury stated that he would reduce his team to four members this time to be more cautious.
Hunter, a heavyweight contender and unbeaten star, was one of the participants in the camp.
The American cast doubt on Fury's withdrawal, and even stated that the training camp wasn't going according to plan.
FightHype's Hunter, 33-year-old, said that Hunter wasn't doing well in the gym but was not good enough to end the fight.
"It was funny to me because they said on the first day that somebody on the team had Covid.
"And then the next thing they heard Tyson got Covid. That seemed a little strange to me.
Hunter lost to Fury in amateur, but he supported his opponent to win again, despite the comments he made.
He stated, "I'm leaning towards Fury.
He got a draw in the initial fight. He won the second fight.
