TYSON FURY is now out of the running to fight Oleksandr Uzyk next for the undisputed heavyweight title.
WBC champion Fury has just defeated Deontay Wilder in round 11 to complete their trilogy.
Tyson Fury wanted Oleksandr Usyk to fight for the undisputed crown
Two weeks earlier, Usyk had stunned Anthony Joshua by winning the unified WBA/IBF/WBO belts.
Fury could not enter a unification because AJ invoked his right for an immediate rematch.
Joshua said he would consider it, despite being urged by Bob Arum, the Gypsy King, and Bob Arum.
Fury's mandatory challenger is Dillian Whyte, so AJ will be watching from the sidelines for two fights.
Arum acknowledged that Joshua was not guaranteed to win Fury or Usyk and Whyte was owed a shot, but said the unification bout seems unlikely.
TalkSPORT was informed by him that Dillian Whyte should be Tyson Fury's next fight.

Joshua won't step aside unless Fury vs Usyk is his winner. And how can anyone assure him that? Whyte is in the mandatory position.
"So Fury vs Whyte is the way I see it. I believe that fight should be in the United Kingdom."
Joshua, 32, will rematch Usyk (34), by April. Fury, 33 has set February as his target return date.
He had previously named the pair his sole targets, but he will now have to look elsewhere if it is his intention to fight in 2022.
33-year-old Whyte is the WBC interim champion, and in turn, the mandatory challenger to the full title.
However, his previous legal dispute with the WBC to expedite his well-earned shot at the belt has prevented Fury's fight from being ordered.
Since then, Arum stated that he would negotiate for Whyte to defeat Fury on a voluntary basis rather than a mandated defense.
