John Fury believes Joshua's team did not help him in Saturday's defeat to Usyk

Joshua has now 'activated, in principle' his clause for a rematch to face his 34 year-old opponent and to try to win the belts back.

Eddie Hearn, his promoter, has urged AJ to go in and 'hurt’ Usyk after they had some success at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Rob McCracken, Joshua's trainer, believes Joshua will win the rematch if he applies pressure with his jab to keep Usyk off balance.

John Fury (57) has criticized McCracken, Joshua, and all of Joshua's for not changing his tactics during the 12-round war.

He said to BT Sport, "Listen, he's a very awkward guy Usyk. He had never fought anyone like that before.

"He did have to adopt Derek Chisora’s game plan, because he did a better than [AJ].

I thought that if he had used his weight more and put more devil in his work it would have worked out better for him. He's a huge dude.

He might have lost too much weight but he needed to get over himself and put him under stress. Don't let him settle.

"If your plan isn't working, you can ask the corner to change it up. They never did. In the eighth round they kept repeating, "Be smart behind your jab."

It wasn't working because he was a master technician, and he played Usyk from the beginning. It was his fault that they didn't change it.

He said, "Give AJ a break.

"Because it wasn’t all AJ’s fault, it was in his corner, they never had to have the brains necessary to rescue him from a sticky situation.

"You have to be able to see that the men in your side know how to fight."
