John Fury, the father of boxing champion Tyson Fury, is eager for his son to take on Jon Jones after his upcoming fight with Francis Ngannou. But he wants the fight to be an all out brawl, a "battle royale" style event.

The Gypsy King's Big Return

Tyson Fury is set to make his comeback on October 28 in Saudi Arabia, where he will face former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.

John Fury's Call Out

Tyson Fury has recently called out UFC superstar Jon Jones, even teasing a rematch in the cage. And it seems he has the support of his father, John. John wants Tyson to skip boxing Jones and instead engage in a no-holds-barred brawl.

John Fury told Seconds Out, "I know my son, he can get into the Hectogon [Octagon] with anybody. If you let Tyson kick and punch you and do all of those things to you, which I think should be allowed in this fight [with Ngannou], I’d say let Ngannou do his s*** and let Tyson do his s***, and have a free-for-all, let the best man walk out of it."

He added, "That'd be my plan [to fight Jon Jones]. I can't speak for Tyson, I'm not his business advisor, I'm not his manager, I'm not his trainer, I'm just his father, but that is what I would want to see."

Ngannou's Move to Boxing

Francis Ngannou, 37, walked away from the UFC and a potential super-fight with Jon Jones to pursue a lucrative career in boxing. And Tyson Fury, 35, gave up his pursuit of the undisputed title against Oleksandr Usyk, 36, in order to face Ngannou in the ring.

Fury's Challenge to Jones

The British heavyweight star further distanced himself from Usyk by expressing his desire to fight Jon Jones after his bout with Ngannou. Tyson Fury stated, "Hopefully I get through Ngannou and then I either fight Ngannou in a cage or I fight Jon Jones in a boxing match. I'd go in a cage with Ngannou for sure, I'd let him kick me, I'd let him do what he wants to me, a full MMA fight. I'd knock him out and probably break his arm on the way too with an arm-bar, I'll kick his leg and break it in two."
