Fury Eyeing Fight with Dubois
Frank Warren found himself in a precarious position as he witnessed Daniel Dubois deliver a knockout blow to Anthony Joshua in front of a record-breaking crowd of 98,000 fans. Among the spectators was Tyson Fury, who is now setting his sights on a potential bout with Dubois, both of whom are promoted by Warren.
Warren's Dilemma
Speaking to Boxing News, Warren admitted, "I am going to tell you straight, I would be in a very, very awkward situation to do that. I’m not going to lie about that. I would struggle with that. If they wanted it and the business called for then that’s up to them."
Future of Heavyweight Division
Despite the uncertainty surrounding potential matchups, Warren remains optimistic about the future of the heavyweight division. With a December rematch between Usyk and Joshua on the horizon, Warren sees a plethora of options available for his fighters, including the young sensation Moses Itauma.
Exciting Opportunities Ahead
Warren emphasized, "We will see what happens in December but there are loads of options. The heavyweight division is so loaded. We are blessed in the UK. I think we have the best heavyweights in the UK. There are great fights there to be made."
