Tyson Fury's promoter says he won't stop boxer from thrilling cross-switch bout against Francis Ngannou, UFC champ

FRANK WARREN will not stand in the way Tyson Fury's clash with UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in a major crossover fight.

After Dillian Whyte's stunning defeat at Wembley last month, the Gypsy King suggested a fight with the Cameroonian clubber.

Warren will not advise Fury to abandon his plans for a fight with the Predator in a hybrid, although boxing fans have dismissed Fury's plans.

The Queensbury Promotions Chief asked me if I would be interested in participating at a recent media event.

"We are his worldwide promoter in the U.S. He has been extremely smart with his trainers.

"He brought Ben Davison along when he felt the need to lose weight, and when it came down to the details, he got on board Sugar Hill.

"All that I can do for him is to give him my advice. He can do what he feels is right, but I won't tell him that he should.

"I wouldn’t even try to go there." He is a smart person and whatever he decides to do for himself and his family will be beneficial.

Ngannou, a Knockout artist, is currently involved in a contract dispute at the UFC. However, he is open to signing a new deal with MMA Promotion if they allow Fury to box.

Ngannou stated that the Tyson Fury fight must be discussed during a recent appearance on The MMA Hour.

"That is not an option. It must be part of any discussion.

"If I sign a contract that is basically the same as the one I signed, it's a disaster."

Fury teased his retirement after the stunning stoppage at Whyte, but has yet to vacate WBC heavyweight title.

The Mexican sanctioning body will give the Brit, 33 years old, a whole YEAR of support to help him decide his next move.

President Mauricio Sulaiman stated: "We have one-year to have the next mandatory battle.
