Fury's Lack of Focus

Tyson Fury's sparring partner, Martin Bakole, has opened up about the Brit's lack of focus during his fight against Francis Ngannou. Bakole claimed that Fury "was not 100 per cent" focused on Ngannou as he had already signed a contract to fight Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight crown.

The Shocking Knockdown

In the third round of the fight, Tyson Fury was knocked down by Francis Ngannou, leaving the sporting world stunned. However, Fury managed to get back on his feet and secure a controversial split-decision victory.

Distraction in the Gym

Martin Bakole revealed that he noticed a significant difference in Fury's training during the lead-up to the Ngannou fight. Bakole claimed that Fury was not as focused as he had been in previous training camps for fights against Klitschko, Chisora, and Dillian Whyte. He attributed this lack of focus to the signed contract with Usyk.

Upcoming Fights

Tyson Fury is now preparing for his fight against Oleksandr Usyk on February 17, while Francis Ngannou will face Anthony Joshua on March 9. Both fights will take place in Saudi Arabia, with Joshua hoping to secure a matchup against the winner of the Fury-Usyk bout.
