Tyson Fury's trainer wants Anthony Joshua and his British rival to join the Oleksandr Usyk training camp.

SugarHill Steward, TYSON FURY'S trainer, isn't against his fighter teaming with Anthony Joshua to defeat Oleksandr Usyk.

Joshua was supposed to battle the Gypsy King in the summer, but Deontay Wilder's trilogy bout got in his way.

Rival AJ was defeated by Oleksandr Uzyk in September. This left plans for an all-British unifier in ruins.

Fury, 33 years old, offered to help Joshua "fight like a man" before the rematch with the Ukrainian. This is likely to happen in the spring.

Steward believes it would be a good idea.

TalkSPORT was informed by the American: "I mean you look at this situation here.

"You can have any other sport, right? You have basketball, football, soccer, American football...

"You have guys who are friends, or very competitive champions. Now, you can see people putting together teams.

"They are putting together dream team or other things like that, in basketball or football or any other type of sport like that.

"These guys are joining together, playing for one team, to succeed."

Joshua said that Fury offered him a job last week and that he accepted his offer. He doesn't have to pay any money. I don't know if it's a bid for a few quids.

"He is more than welcome to visit the doors. He can even spar with us. It's important that I have a coach who has lived it and breathed it so it'll be perfect.

"That'll make it the easiest way to get him into the ring. Eddie [Hearn] and I will set up a camera. We'll also have a few cameras to run it on Facebook or YouTube.

Joshua is a passionate boxing historian and doesn't fear welcoming Fury to his camp.

He stated, "I'm looking at pictures with Sugar Ray Robinson and Joe Louis, Archie Moore and Muhammad Ali all sitting together in each other's training camps.

"I feel like I've been tuckedaway a lot. Come to my training camp and see what the heavyweight champion does.

"Tyson can certainly come and watch me train, 100 percent.

"Sparring isn't fighting so he can certainly come in, and he's more then welcome to walk in to the gym to give me tips.

"I won't fight him next anyway, so he has nothing to worry about."
