White was accused of underpaying UFC members, while he blasted the American boxing record.
The UFC boss, however, has clarified the matter and dismissed any rivalry with Paul. He claimed that Paul is simply 'trying for some money'.
White said to Manouk Akopyan, "He really hasn’t been a problem in my side. I don't hate the man like some people believe.
"He's out there doing what he wants. He's a young man who has a lot of fans and is trying to make some cash. "I don't fault anyone for doing that."
Paul, 24 has defeated Tyron Woodley (39.) and Ben Askren (337).
Woodley, an ex-UFC champion, lost initially on points in August, but was KO'd during their December rematch.

White mocked White's social media success by failing to fight a professional boxer.
The spat turned sour when Paul accused Paul of using cocaine.
White denied the accusations and offered to test for the recreational drug over a period of TEN YEARS.
He asked Paul to test his drug for Paul for two more years and accused the 5-0 prizefighter, who was using steroids, in return.
Paul later denied the allegations and agreed that he would be tested by the United States Anti Doping Agency, the UFC's drug-testing partners.
Eddie Hearn, a boxing promoter, was shocked by the viral back-and forth. He praised Paul for speaking so openly.
DAZN Boxing was told by Hearn that Jake Paul did a great job engaging Dana White in these conversations.
"I have a lot of respect for Dana White, and I was shocked when he posted a video about Jake Paul speaking to him.
"That would have made Jake Paul happy." Music to his ears because that's exactly what he does. He goesads you until you start talking back.
