UFC President Dana White believes that poor ticket sales are the true reason for the cancellation.

White claims that the YouTuber-turned-boxer and his team pulled the plug on the fight because they couldn't fill The World's Most Famous Arena.

White stated that UFC 277 sold less than $1million worth of tickets, and that it costs $500,000 for MSG to turn on the lights.

"That's my opinion. You can't forget about the high cost of transportation and hotel rooms in New York.

Rahman Jr. lost a single pound after he agreed to fight at 200lbs. This was the reason for the cancellation.

Paul is reported to have accepted that the New York State Athletic Commission would not sanction the contest at a weight below 205lbs.

Rahman Jr., however, has said that he told Team Paul that he would weigh in at 215lbs and would "pullout" of the contest, if required to lose less.

Gold Blooded however has denied the allegation and stated that Jake and his "team" cancelled this fight. Not me!

"The fight isn’t happening on their terms not MINE!"

Paul, disappointed, posted his frustrations on social media and said: "Hasim Rahman Jr. has pulled out from the fight.

He said, "This isn't a joke. I am devastated. We just discovered this news.

"This is yet another instance of a professional fighter, just like Tommy Fury being afraid to fight me."

Paul believes Rahman Jr. and his team tried to "suck more money into their pockets."

He said, "It is clear as day that these men have been so unprofessionally to work with. They are looking for any excuses to suck more cash out of this event.

"To coerce and us into doing certain things, and I knew right away that this guy wasn't going to get in the rings with me."
