UFC star Francis Ngannou has challenged Tyson Fury again to a fight as he contemplates switching to boxing.
Ngannou said that it was only a matter time before he switches to the Octagon for a squared circle. He has big plans and wants "make some damage" against top heavyweights.
The UFC Heavyweight Champion, the reigning champion, has once again called out Fury and would love to have a conversation with Deontay Wester.
Ngannou stated to TMZ that it's been always down the line. This is something that I won't let go of.
It's going to happen in any way. Even if the UFC and me reach a deal, I must include the boxing aspect because I cannot see myself retiring without boxing.
"Tyson Fury Deontay Wilder. That would be a great goal. This is not the same sport. Although I am the champion, it's not the same thing.
"At the end it's about trained hands, trained punches and having a good delivery method to produce bombs. I'm confident that if my punch is good enough, I can do some damage."
Ngannou has made it clear that he wants to face British star Fury in the near future.
Dewey Cooper, the Cameroonian coach of Dewey Cooper, believes that he can end the undefeated streak of the Gypsy King.
Cooper stated previously that Tyson Fury is currently the best boxer anywhere in the world.
Tyson is a difficult heavyweight due to his attributes: the speed, boxing ability, good defense, confidence, and swagger. Tyson is a true fighter and Tyson will be a difficult fight for anyone in boxing.
"But Francis can definitely fight any heavyweight if he takes his time and adjusts his training. Francis has the power to make it happen.
"However, the power of a boxing glove would be a bit lower than what it is with MMA gloves.
"A MMA glove weighs only 4 oz, while a boxing glove weighs 10 oz. That makes a big difference. There are many little intangibles.
"Of course he is able to box, and he could eventually defeat someone like Tyson Fury for sure."
