DEONTAY WILDER is still working hard in the gym, despite Tyson Fury's postponement.
Fury, the former WBC champion, was scheduled to renew their rivalry last month. However, their third encounter was postponed after the Gypsy King tested positive in Covid.
Malik Scott uploaded footage of Deontay Wilder and himself training to his Instagram
Fury vs Wilder's third installment is scheduled for October 9. However, the American appears to not have taken time off after the rescheduling their July showdown.
Malik Scott, Wilder's coach, recently posted a clip of them drilling different combinations on the pads onto his Instagram page.
The Bronze Bomber landed thunderous shots and mixed them with some good footwork.
Many boxing fans responded quickly to the comment with one saying, "He looks great on the pads, but let's watch how he handles the pressure of someone walking towards his face."
"Can he move his head to counter punch?" He will he be able to maintain his balance and keep his feet on the ground?
"Will he feel less tired from moving more?"
Another commented, "He looks so uncomfortable that this just doesn’t come natural for him. Learning how to box a little isn’t going to change anything. He’ll just go back and do his wild swings. Tyson gonna beat it again.
Another said, "Hopefully his power remains there and he does well."
One commented: "That's right, take your title back."
Fury, a fan favourite, stopped Wilder in the seventh round of their rematch last Feb. It was a remarkable return to the top of the sport.
Andy Lee is expected to put on a better performance in their third clash, according to the Brit's cousin.
He said to iFL TV, "I think he will do it sooner than he did last time."
"But, I think it'll still be an extremely dangerous fight because Wilder is fresh and highly motivated.

"He will likely be motivated by having new trainers, learning new things.
"He'll likely be enthusiastic now but I still don’t know how [Wilder] is going to recover mentally after that fight.
"It will take a lot of mental effort to get over that defeat and the way it was delivered the first time.
