Gharibi, also known as the "Persian Hercules", is expected to weigh in at 390lbs or 28 stone.
In preparation for the fight, the strongman posted some of his training methods to Instagram.
His video begins with a few clips of him lifting weights.
It takes a bizarre turn when he bursts a watermelon using his naked hands.
Gharibi can also been seen towing a car and bending metal - before hammering on some tyres.
After hitting the wall repeatedly, he punches a hole through it.
Iranian Hulk captioned the video with "YES THIS IS MY PERSONAL."
"Beautiful white smile one side you with all of your sponsors in front of me with my dear fans around the globe who support and motivate.
"Different circumstances it's not important, even if the most difficult conditions i have but the iranian beast never stops seeing you april 2nd."
Ford will be seven inches taller than Gharibi when they meet in the ring.
The Brit, 39, is ten years older than his opponent and has been trained by Eddie Hall, former World's Strongest Man, who is currently recovering from an injury in preparation for a possible fight against Hafthor Thor Bjornsson.
Ford is a bodybuilder by trade, but he once wanted to be a cricketer. He has appeared in many films over the years, including The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
He wrote, "I can't guarantee you the best technical fight in the universe but I can promise you that I will bring all my resources and make this an event you will never forget."
